Nov 27 – Jan 5 · Released in Raleigh, NC

Twelve ducks are loose for the holidays.

Jeep owners are passing them hand to hand across the country — and every mile is raising meals for hungry neighbors.

The ducks are working for the Food Bank

$1,340raised of a $4,000 goal

That is roughly 4,020 meals so far.

Donations are handled by the Food Bank on their own site. We never touch a dollar.

Where they have been

Every pin is a hand-off someone logged. Pick a duck to trace just its route.

Pins drop at the center of each ZIP code, not an exact address.

The twelve

Every duck wants something different this winter. Help yours get there.

If a duck lands in your hands

  1. Log it

Scan the tag and tell us two things: your ZIP code and what you drive. That is all we ask.

  2. Keep it a few days

Ride around with it. Check what your duck is trying to accomplish this winter, and help it along if your travels line up.

  3. Pass it on

Duck the next Jeep you see. Leave the tag on. Then come back here and watch where it goes next.

We never ask for your name, email, or address.

Pins land at the center of a ZIP code, so nothing on the map points at anybody's house.

The actual point of all this

Twelve ducks, one very full pantry.

A dollar to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina becomes about three meals. Give a little while you are here and the ducks are doing more than riding around in cupholders.

Every dollar is processed by the Food Bank. We never see or handle any of it.
